Advanced Cosmetology

Want to be hired by a top salon and have the best creative and artistic skills right after graduation? Our 1600 Hour Cosmetology curriculum includes the basics of hair cutting and color, yet the Cosmetology 103 provides time for the creative and advanced technical skills required by salon owners today and the high degree of expertise and demands of the clients.

Our inspiration to create the Cosmetology 103 course came from the desire to assist both our students and the salon owners. The salon owners would be able to hire graduates and the time spent as an assistant would be shortened to less than 6 months and in some cases the salon owner would hire the graduate directly into a full-time station position. This would increase the graduate’s income potential and lower the salon owner’s costs of training.

The advanced cosmetology curriculum is taught during the inspiration phase of the Cosmetology course providing the student time at the end of their course to enter our state board readiness program focused on preparing them to successfully pass the state board and obtain their license.

The advanced Cosmetology 103 course is lead by the Academy’s internationally acclaimed Artistic Director, Diego Raviglione. Diego spent the past 9 years as an advanced educator for Graham Webb and was their Artistic Director. He led the creation of the Graham Webb collections twice a year that have been published and recognized internationally.

The Academy, under the leadership of Diego has a Master Artistic Team (MAT) that has created two collections to date. These collections have gained national recognition in industry publications. Check out our In The News section to review articles featuring the MAT team students.

Cosmetology 104 - Superior Advanced Training

What to get ahead of the pack? In addition to your comprehensive Cosmetology 103 training, get advanced training in Make-Up Artistry. The curriculum for this certification is inspired by the world-renowned Make-up Designory training program. In addition, we are the first in the nation to have an internationally acclaimed make-up artists on staff to provide ongoing advanced workshops. We are the only school outside of New York and Los Angeles to offer a professional make-up course at this level.
