Professional Make-Up Artistry

Our Academies are the FIRST to partner with the internationally acclaimed Make-up Designory Academy to offer their 150-hour “Beauty Make-Up Artistry” training course. In addition we are the first in the nation to have an internationally acclaimed make-up artist on staff to provide ongoing advanced workshops. We are the only school outside of New York and Los Angeles to offer a professional make-up course at this level.

Many salons and spas are adding make-up to their retail centers. Increasingly, Salon and Spa owners are requiring their professionals to have artistry skills. This course can be added to our Cosmetology course or our Esthetics course or taken independently as an advanced training.

Our Make-up course is offered to all industry related individuals that want to learn the complete range of make-up applications, the science of cosmetics and how to become a professional in the make-up industry.

Instruction includes both the theoretical and practical aspects of make-up artistry. Students become knowledgeable in all types of face and body art including correction make-up, runway, bridal, glamour, professional and simple special effects application. The course culminates with a professional photo shoot to help the students start their personal professional portfolio and begin their career in the exciting field of cosmetics and make-up artistry!
