Financial Aid Policies

Each Academy has a team of Financial Aid representatives that will provide you with individual financial planning for your tuition needs. We partner with a number of financial aid programs to provide you with as many options as possible.

Financial Aid is administered in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Eligibility to participate in financial aid programs is determined by the Department of Education.

All of our Academies offer both Title IV Financial Aid Programs for those who qualify and non–Federal Financial Aid Assistance programs to assist you in achieving your career education goals.

All of our Academies are approved by the Department of Education to participate in the following Title IV financial aid programs.

The following is a list of programs that are available along with a description. Our Financial Aid team will assist you in personally reviewing each option:

Federal Pell Grant
The Federal Pell Grant is gift assistance which is not repaid. The Federal Pell Grant Program provides a foundation of financial assistance that may be supplemented by other resources.

Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
Supplemental grants are based on the funds available and do not have to be repaid.

Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP)
These low interest loans are available to qualified students through the lending institutions or agencies participating in the program and are guaranteed by the U.S. Government.

Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS)
The Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate students provides additional funds to assist parents paying for educational expenses.

Sallie Mae Financial Corporation offers career training affordable for a variety of students attending full time. With flexible financing to accommodate a wide range of programs, the SLM Training Loan can make paying for your education easier. Inquire at the Financial Aid Department for more details.

For students who do not qualify for federal financial aid, Poway Academy offers a number of flexible installment option plans to fit a student’s individual needs.
